A couple of weeks ago I was given the commission to photograph Sophie Maxwell for the cover of her new book “The £1.80 Sandwich” (available at Amazon as a Kindle download – print version available from next week).

Solopreneur Publishing had a specific brief for the shoot, the result of which can be seen on the back cover below. I only got to meet Sophie very briefly but the photo seems to capture something of the real her. As I’ve said before on this blog I love to tell stories. Whilst the real story is to be found in the book which I think will be a very good read, I like to think that both of these images of Sophie capture something of her and her story. Her look, her pose, her eyes and the even the background all add to this in my opinion.
